TA Foraging Pouch sits comfortably on your belt and opens up into a generous sized pouch when folded out. When foraging for wild edibles such as mushrooms, nuts and berries, you inevitably need something to carry them in. Some people use a basket, but these can be bulky and cumbersome.

This Handmade belt carry pouch is made from high quality premium 3mm veg tanned leather which has been hand cut, dyed and polished. The khaki green pouch itself is made from 8oz washed and waxed cotton canvas. It features solid brass rivets and press stud and it is fitted with a nylon drawstring and dyed wood toggle.

The pouch fits belts of up to 2” in width. The leather is hand stitched with bonded nylon thread. Each pouch is carefully handmade by Brian at Journeyman Handcrafts. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that each and every pouch is made to the highest standard using the highest quality materials.


I use this pouch throughout the year, and often when I am not carrying it on my belt, I will stow it away in my pack as it takes up very little space. I really like the minimalist design and when it’s folded up it feels small and compact.
